2D Ising Model
The Ising Model is a simplified model for interacting magnetic spins in atoms. Shown here is a numerical Monte Carlo simulation of the Ising model at a temperature below its critical temperature, so that a phase transition occurs (this is why yellow begins to dominate the plot).
